I have been posting a lot about Hannah Brencher's Fighting Forward book that was just released this month. Check out my IGTV video I made on release day! Here is my review. If you don't like to read, feel free to skip it and just click this link and go buy it. Because it's worth every penny and more.
If you want to support local bookstores, buy it here! Read my review below for some insight into what the book is about and the encouragement and goodness it has to offer.
- Hannah Brencher
This book is one that you will find yourself pulling back out later in life to share with someone. A tired friend, a lost family member, a coworker who needs some direction, your son or daughter who needs fight songs sung into them from the very beginning.
For yourself, when you need a reminder that the lies you are fed, from yourself or others, don't have to stay. They don't have to keep you from moving forward. The pressure from culture and society can be left behind so you can fight forward.
The uncertainty, self-doubt, and comparison can eat your dust as you fight forward and run your own race. The slow magic can help you show up and stay consistent despite how culture pushes us to go-go-go, never slow down, always be doing, never stop hustling. T
his book comes at a time that will make history. At a time full of hurt, anxiousness, and unknowns. At a moment when we get to decide how we will write our history, destroy the lies, and cheer each other on and count the victories and celebrate the bravery and courage it takes to keep fighting forward; despite the fear that so desperately wants to control us and rewrite our story, or, rather, tries to keep us from writing it at all.

Friends, this book really is so worth the read. I can't even tell you what these words mean to me. It's one of those books you get knowing you will be using it later on and going back to it time and time again for the encouragement you need just to get through the day. Or to run your fingers over the words that will become your fight songs. It's the book you will want to tell everyone about because it's just that good and helped you love yourself and others better.
I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND following Hannah Brencher on Instagram. And then signing up for her Monday morning emails. Her words have helped me through some of the most challenging times in my life.
Anyway, thanks for reading and for being here!
